Are you a senior and wondering why you can’t walk for longer than 15 minutes? After that you get leg weakness, numbing in your feet and hip pain that makes you sit down?

You probably have undiagnosed Lumbar Spinal Stenosis (AKA Shopping Cart Syndrome) which is a narrowing (squeezing) of the blood supply to the nerves that travel from the spine down to your feet. The cause is from degeneration (arthritis) in your low back and you will generally have a better blood supply to these nerves when you walk bent forward over a shopping cart.

I find it interesting how walking with a slightly hunched posture can improve symptoms.
